		<description>There are now 2 1080/24 HDV camera series available - the Canon XH series, and Sony V1. The Canon cameras record a 24fps stream with no pulldown, and the Sony records as 60i with pulldown as described here. It is worth comparing footage from the 2 cameras to see in practice the effects I described here.</description>

		<description>Just in case the implications of this aren't clear, it means that 1) if you are making a DVD from 24-frame footage, you should really encode the MPEG clips as 24-frame clips. Otherwise you will have reduced chroma resolution. 2) You really can't have optimal results in 24P from a 1080i HDV camera (since the spec doesn't allow 24 fps MPEGs.(</description>
